Thriving Fig is a creative studio established in 2023 by Muturi Njeri, a (product + learning experience) designer, storyteller and lifelong educator.
The work that we do revolves around two simple—but incredibly hard—questions:

In Thriving Fig's perfect world, every human being would fulfill their greatest potential and be seen, loved, and understood for who they are. Because who we are and what we do with our single lives matters—but who we are in connection with others is ultimately what defines who we become as individuals, as teams, as communities, as organizations, as nations, and even as humanity.

Meet Muturi Njeri
Founder & Chief Designer of Thriving Fig
Over the past decade, Muturi has worked in finance, education & talent development spaces - in creative, design and research roles - for both large and start-up organizations. He has a Masters in Development (Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh, where he was a Mastercard Foundation Scholar & recipient of the Sir William Darling Prize. He studied Psychology, African Studies & Writing at Colgate University in New York & is an alum of the African Leadership Academy in South Africa.
